DO YOU SEE ME
Do you see me sometimes in my darkest times, soiled sheets and clouded head, Do you see me sometimes, earphones when I take walks, pondering on things beyond my comprehension, Do you see me sometimes in my pretence, happy face, smiley face, but never my sad face, my real face, Do you see me sometimes weird as I withdraw, my shell getting bigger, and my heart getting smaller, Do you see me sometimes when I find hope and I loose it, a very exhausting cycle, Do you see me sometimes when I doubt myself, when I feel worthless, when the man in the mirror is different from me, Do you see me sometimes, now tell me, do you see me? In all my moods and stages, I still remain that happy child, Gathering bits and pieces of this tiresome journey.
